Christine Bolingbroke

 
Now based in New York City, Christy is the Marketing Manager with the Mark Morris Dance Group and is responsible for creating and working on campaigns to promote MMDG performances, Morris’ ballet and opera commissions, and educational programming for the School at the Mark Morris Dance Center in Ft. Greene, Brooklyn.  Originally from Texas, she completed the Fellowship Program after working as Company Manager for the award-winning Helios Dance Theater, a Los Angeles-based contemporary dance troupe.  As a professional dancer, Christy performed all over the United States and in Russia.  She developed dance curriculum and taught at both high schools and colleges in Southern California.  She also worked as a Customer Service Supervisor for the UCLA Central Ticket Office - managing over 300 performing arts and athletic events each season. Christy received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Joanna Felder

 
Joanna is an independent cultural consultant in Chicago.  She assists local and international arts organizations with short and long-term projects, providing services in program management, fund-raising and public relations.  Current projects include Silk Road Chicago, a year-long collaborative initiative among the Silk Road Project, the City of Chicago, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and the Art Institute of Chicago, and the development of a new community music school in Colle Val D'Elsa, Italy.  Before coming to Kennedy Center, Joanna served as the Artistic Manager for the Ravinia Festival in Chicago from 2003-2005, and as Publicity Associate and Brandenburg Ensemble Manager for Frank Salomon Associates in New York from 2001-2003.  A musician by training, she received a Bachelor of Music degree in cello performance from Indiana University, pursued professional studies at the Musik-Akademie Der Stadt Basel in Switzerland, and received a Master of Music degree from Yale University.

Missy Globerman

Missy is currently working in the Development Department of the San Francisco Symphony as their Campaign Coordinator. She joined the Fellowship Program from Alonzo King’s LINES Ballet in San Francisco, CA where she was Company Manager/Booking and Marketing Associate. Among the many hats she wore, Missy coordinated outreach to presenters to book the company for two seasons, developed and implemented marketing strategies for self-produced seasons, handled communications for all media relations, and managed fundraising and promotional events. Prior to her work at LINES, Missy worked in press/communication strategy for Cornell University and MIT, and was an Associated Press-award winning newspaper reporter and freelance journalist.  She received a BS in Human Service Studies and Policy Analysis from Cornell University.


Kimberly Gordon

 
Kimberly works in the Bay Area developing and implementing arts programming for the Peninsula Jewish Community Center in Foster City.  Prior to her year at The Kennedy Center, she served as the Management Associate for Center Theatre Group (CTG) in Los Angeles, home to the Ahmanson, Mark Taper Forum and the Kirk Douglas Theatre.  At CTG, Kimberly worked closely with the General Manager and was responsible for season planning meetings, opening night celebrations and both daily and weekly ticket sales reports. She also served as a co-company manager for home-produced Ahmanson shows. Previously, Kimberly was the Coordinator of Longform Programming at USA Network where she aided in the development of television movies. As a recipient of the first Charles Schusterman Award, she is frequently called upon to speak on behalf of birthright israel and the United Jewish Federation. Kimberly is a cum laude graduate of Northwestern University with a BSSP in Theatre.

Renée Littleton

 
Prior to becoming a Kennedy Center Fellow, Renée served as the Associate Director of Marketing at Arena Stage in Washington, DC. Where s he implemented subscription and single ticket campaigns, and also developed and managed enrichment programs designed to build and sustain audiences.  She received a degree in Chemistry from Carnegie Mellon University, and a Master's in Arts Management from American University.  Her thesis, A Case Study of Crossroads Theater: A Regional African-American Theater in New Brunswick, New Jersey , focused on the sustainability of identity-based arts organizations. 

Tricia McGrath

 
Trish is the Director of Institutional Giving for Washington, DC’s Shakespeare Theatre Company where she is responsible for government, foundation, and corporate giving and corporate sponsorship, and assists the Chief Development Officer with aspects of the Harman Center for the Arts Capital Campaign. Before relocating to Washington, DC for her Fellowship year, Trish was the Executive Director of The Word On The Street, an outdoor literary festival with theatre, world music, and arts education elements in Toronto, Canada. She was responsible for general management, programming, production, grants and sponsorships, and marketing/public relations, and oversaw the festival’s successful deficit retirement, brand rejuvenation, and programming expansion over four years. Previously, Trish managed gala fundraising events, provided communications counsel, and developed special projects for various foundations and partnerships. Through the wonders of email and teleconferencing, Trish is proud to continue serving on the Board of Directors of Toronto’s acclaimed Nightwood Theatre. She is a graduate of McGill University in Montréal, with a degree in Philosophy.

Christopher Recker

 
In October of 2006, Christopher joined the Broadway Tour of the Tony Award-winning production of “Movin’ Out”, featuring the music of Billy Joel and choreography of Twyla Tharp.  Prior to coming to the Kennedy Center in 2005, Christopher was the Director of Education for the Arts Partnership of Greater Hancock County in Findlay, Ohio, where he was responsible for several local/regional/state programs including The Arts Partnership’s involvement with the Kennedy Center's Partners in Education Program. Christopher is a summa cum laude graduate of Defiance College with a degree in Communication Arts-Public Relations, and he received a Master's in Theatre Studies from Bowling Green State University.

Rares Cristian Trifan

 

Chris is the General Director of the Cluj-Napoca Romanian National Opera, the oldest lyrical-dramatic institution in Romania. He is responsible for cultural strategies, planning, casting, and the opera house renovation project. Chris initiated cultural exchanges and is a member of the Theater Union of Romania (UNITER). He has been directing opera professionally for the past 10 years. Chris received a Bachelor's degree in Musical Theater and Opera Stage Direction from the University of Bucharest, a Master's in Music from the Music Academy of Cluj, Romania, a Master's in Opera Stage Direction from the Indiana University School of Music where he is enrolled in a PhD program in Performing Arts at the Music Academy of Cluj.


Lisa Ueki

 
Lisa Ueki is currently the Manager of Corporate Sponsorship at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in New York City.  Previous to the Fellowship program, Lisa was the Assistant to the Managing Director at the Honolulu Theatre for Youth. In this role, she worked with board members on special events, theatre initiatives, and assisted with the daily running of the theatre's administrative operations. She helped with the celebration of the theatre's 50th Anniversary season, and the preparations to move to a new semi-permanent theatre space in 2005. Lisa has prior experience in vocal and dance performance, and is an alumni of Hawaii Youth Opera Chorus and Hawaii Opera Theatre's Opera For Everyone Intern Program. She received a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.

Chan Woon Wai

 
Woonie is an Assistant Manager of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government of the People's Republic of China.  Among his accomplishments, he helped to bring the Kirov Ballet, Bolshoi Ballet, Merce Cunningham Dance Company, and the Cleveland Orchestra to Hong Kong. Previously, he was a reporter on visual arts and cultural policy for an esteemed newspaper in Hong Kong. He is also a Board Director of Theatre du Pif.  Woonie received various certifications in performing arts criticism, stage and technical management, and arts and entertainment management.  He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Arts from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and a Master's in European Cultural Policy and Administration from the University of Warwick in the UK.
