Internationally renowned and locally adored, this D.C.-based duo's innovative integration of world music with electronica has pushed boundaries and influenced composers for the past two decades. For this extraordinary concert, they perform music from their diverse catalogue, including music highlighting their bossa nova influences, as well as brand-new arrangements commissioned from today's leading young classical composers. Mason himself joins them to kick off the evening with his instrumental/electronica work The Rise of Exotic Computing.
