Next Performance
Taimane and her Hawaii Trio

10/16/2017 at 6:00 PM

Performing in the spotlight in Hawaii since age 13 when she first joined Don Ho on stage, Taimane has long committed to following her passion and creating a sound and style all her own with her instrument of choice—the ukulele. Her on-stage persona captivates upon first sight and fiery performances ensue, featuring everything from Bach to rock, flamenco infernos to tribal hymns, garnering Taimane more than seven million video views and nearly 80,000 social media followers worldwide. She is on an upward trajectory that is drawing comparisons to recent rapid ascensions by Chris Botti, Trombone Shorty, Kamasi Washington, and Lake Street Dive.
